Stratford upon Avon guided walking and coach tour - Follow in the footsteps of William Shakespeare and view or even enter the five houses associated with his family using your own coach. Either a short coach tour or one that lasts all day, giving you the opportunity to better explore what the town and surrounding area has to offer. Otherwise a walking tour of the main part of the town is also available.  Have so far conducted over 600 tours of the town.  

Coventry guided walking and coach tour  - The city of three cathedrals, the setting for Middlemarch by George Eliot and the city that William Shakespeare visited on a number of occasions. Today its a modern city with a ancient heart, that dates back 1,000 years. Hear the story of Lady Godiva, discover why you are 'Sent to Coventry' and explore its medieval past including walking over a Time Team site and seeing a 15th century Doom painting. Either a guided walking tour or, a part guided coach tour and then guided walking tour. There is so much to see and experience, which now includes the updated Coventry Transport Museum and The Herbert Art Gallery and Museum. Ghost tours of this city are now also available, please ask for details. Have so far conducted over 1,500 tours of the city.   

Warwick guided walking tour - Visit Warwick Castle and find out why its known as the greatest complete medieval castle in England. Also explore the many other places this famous town has to offer via a guided walking tour. Like for example the Lord Lycester Hospital where TV and film have visited and view St Mary's Church where some of the Earls of Warwick have been buried including Robert Dudley.  

Royal Leamington Spa guided walking tour -  View the famous spa town that dates back less than 200 years, which has seen many Royal visitors and famous people grace its streets. View ther famous Parade which is 1/2 mile long and contains a vast array of shops plus the Royal Priors. This Regency style town attracts many visitors, who can also explore the restored pump rooms, originally opened in 1814. Birmingham guided walking and coach tour - Now the 2nd city and once known as the city of a 1,000 trades. Heart of England -

Other places for a guided tour include Rugby, with its own history, partly based around the famous Rugby School and also home to the firing of the first jet engine. While Nuneaton was the birthplace of George Eliot, who later went to live in Coventry. But the region has so much more to offer with visiting Cosford, home to an excellent aircraft museum or nearby Ironbridge, the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. Also The Black Country, Black and White Village Trail plus much more. Recently introduced tours include Kenilworth Castle and its new garden. 

Travel on a guided literary tour, which can include many of the famous writers across the region including Walter Scott, Jane Austen, George Eliot, William Shakespeare, CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien, Philip Pullman and others. While the area is home to much musical talent including Edward Elgar and groups like the Move, Slade, ELO, Moody Blues, Led Zeppelin, Specials, The Enemy and many more. Also worth considering is a 2012 related tour as this area has the Much Wenlock Olympian Games, Cotswolds Olimpicks, a Olympic venue and other related sites associated with training etc. Tours to sites outside the region will shortly also be on offer. Whatever your requirements, with the help of a qualified tourist guide, the Heart of England has so much to offer the visitor via a guided tour. Roger has conducted over 2,500 guided tours in the region, including nearly 1,500 of Coventry, so he has a lot of experience behind, which few others can match. He also offers evening talks and will soon be offering ghost tours of Coventry in partnership with others and plans are in hand to offer something similar for Stratford.

Additional guides - Blue Badge Guided Tours also acts as a supplier of additional Blue Badge Tourist Guides if you have many guests that need to be looked after. Besides working for various educational establishments, we recently supplied many of the tourist guides required for the heritage and cultural tours on the back of the 2009 World Rotary Convention held at the National Exhibition Centre near Birmingham. Many 100’s of delegates were looked after each day on tours  booked within the convention.

Please Note : Cancellation fees are due if a tour is cancelled within less than seven days of the booked date and full payment if 48 hours or less. There will be interest charges for late payment. These tours are for privately group bookings only and not for the public, while  a risk assessment can be provided if required. Roger is based at a location in Coventry and near the NEC and Birmingham Airport, plus a short distance from Stratford upon Avon and Birmingham.
